I made this decorative piece with dried wildflowers encased in transparent resin on a wooden embroidery hoop.
Hoop diameter: 13.5 cm (5.3 inches)
All pieces are made one at a time, entirely by hand. For each piece, I pour three to five layers of resin and let each layer to cure for one day before the next layer. I dry or press the flowers for at least two weeks before I put them in resin so they will keep their colors and textures alive.
The resin has a glass-like feel and will preserve the flowers forever.
Each piece is totally unique, and no two will be exactly the same.
