Is resin jewelry safe?

The concerns about epoxy resin often arise because people confuse epoxy with polyester resins, which are made with styrene. Polyester resins do release harmful gases, but epoxy resins do not cause any undue concerns.

While epoxy resin does contain a lot of VOC (volatile organic compounds) when in its two-part state, once resin has cured completely (usually within 24-48 hours of being mixed) these chemicals are completely inert and thus environmentally safe.

Therefore, when our epoxy resin is completely polymerized, it cannot contaminate the environment.

Are the rings durable?

I offer a high quality product that will last several years. The resin rings are durable but to keep your pieces looking good and save you from having to buy new ones, please try to adhere to the following advice.

To maintain the shine, clarity and durability of your jewelry, avoid exposing it to harsh chemicals and cleaning products. This includes perfume, hair spray, cleaning solutions, nail polish remover, antibacterial hand sanitizer etc.

At the end of the day, all jewelry is delicate and should be treated as such.

Do the rings become soft after wearing them for a while?

I take great care in the curing process and only sand and polish my rings when they are fully cured, so they will not become soft.

How should I care for my jewelry?

Please remove your jewelry before showering, swimming or washing up. Resin is water-resistant, but not waterproof.

If you want to keep your jewelry looking beautiful, store it out of direct sunlight. Sunlight can cause the resin to discolor and soften.

Do you sell wholesale?

Do you have a brick and mortar shop/physical shop?

Right now we only sell online. But I've always dreamed of having a physical shop as well, so maybe that will happen someday!

Do you do customized orders/personalized jewelry?

At the moment we do not do any customized or personalized jewelry.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay and Paypal. Please note that the available payment methods may change depending on your region. We do not accept cash on delivery.

What is your return policy?

We accept returns up to 14 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.

How long does the refund take?

Once we receive your item, a refund is initiated immediately. All major credit card providers generally take 5-7 business days to process your refund before it appears in your bank account.

Can I change my order/size I ordered?

The best way to change your order is to contact us at contact@resity.shop. If an order is shipped, we won't be able to make any changes to your order.

When will I receive my order?

All orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
