A Day Inside the Resity Studio

A Day Inside the Resity Studio

After we drop our daughter at kindergarten, the studio slowly comes alive.

Resity is a family business in the truest sense. It’s just the two of us at the studio most days — deciding what needs to be done, dividing tasks, and slowly building the jewelry that so many people now wear across the world.

On making days, the studio air smells faintly of resin and warm light. I review the orders, since every piece is made to order. I pour resin, mix pigments, or prepare tiny botanical elements, knowing that the pieces will rest for a full day or two before they can be taken out of their molds. When they’re finally ready, we shape, sand, polish, and prepare them for their new homes.

Other days move more quietly. We drink coffee, answer messages, update the website, plan new designs, and talk through ideas for the next collection. Sometimes the whole studio turns into a photography corner — something I love deeply — and I spend hours capturing the light and color of each piece.

Around noon we pause, take our dog outside, and breathe a little before returning to the work that fills our days. Our daughter joins us whenever she can and proudly tells everyone she’ll work at Resity when she grows up. She already belongs to this place.

Inspiration comes in colors, textures, and small details — sometimes from a new pigment I want to test, sometimes from a flower whose shape is impossible to ignore. Every design begins quietly, with curiosity and slow hands, and grows into something meant to be worn and loved.

Every piece you see in our shop starts here, in this quiet room in Vienna.
