How We Create Botanical Resin Jewelry

Botanical pieces always begin long before the resin is poured. They start with a walk, a memory, a moment when a flower catches our attention and refuses to be ignored. Some flowers speak through their shape, others through their texture, and many simply hold a softness we want to keep forever.

When we choose botanicals, we look for the ones that carry an emotion — tiny forget-me-nots, soft alyssum clusters, sprigs of moss, the structure of heather. Every natural element has its own personality. Some are fragile, some bold, some stubborn in the best way. We prepare them gently, knowing that the resin will protect what time would otherwise erase.

The pouring is slow and careful. We place each flower or piece of moss by hand, making small adjustments until the composition feels right. Once the resin rests, the studio becomes quieter — there is nothing to do but wait while the tiny worlds take shape.

After curing, we release each piece from its mold. This moment always feels a little magical. The botanical details become suspended, still and permanent, and we begin the process of sanding and polishing until the surface turns smooth and clear.

Botanical designs remind us that nature never rushes, and neither do we. Each piece carries a fragment of the world outside our studio — something delicate, preserved, and meant to be worn close.
